Delores Stevens, a concert pianist… is Artistic Director of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Festival in Mass now in its 37th season.  She is Co-Artistic Director of the 11-year old Chamber Music Palisades in California.  She is also Artistic Director of the new Music and Conversation series in Los Angeles.  She is Director of Chamber Music for the Young Musician’s Foundation and Mount St. Mary’s College, both in Los Angeles.  For 20 years she was Piano Dept. Chair at the University of California at Dominguez Hills.  She is a former Governor and Trustee of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences currently known as The Recording Academy.  She has performed as a piano soloist and chamber musician in Japan, China, Australia, Argentina, Great Britain, Scandinavia, the Czech Republic and throughout the U.S.  Her recordings can be found on 16 labels including both solo and chamber music recordings.  In 2008 a premiere DVD/CD AIX Media recording has been released featuring Delores in the Shostakovich Piano Quintet.
